Dementia Friendly Saline

Persons with dementia are a part of, not apart from, our community.

We are a small Saline-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit aimed at making living in the community less difficult and more dignified for persons with dementia. Our mission is to raise awareness, provide education to the community, and to create fun, judgement-free events for those affected by dementia, both directly and indirectly.

Please take a few moments to watch the interview DFS Founder and Chair Jim Mangi

did with AARP Michigan about his role as a caregiver to his beloved wife Kathleen.
